Product Description

LDR60K1 60 mJ 1064 nm Laser Rangefinder & Target Designator

The LDR60K1 is a high-performance 1064nm laser target designator integrating coded laser illumination and precision laser ranging in a single compact unit, engineered for demanding airborne and ground-based weapon guidance applications. Featuring 60mJ pulse energy with a maximum ranging capability of 10 kilometers and beam divergence controlled below 0.3mrad for highly concentrated energy at extended ranges, this product is widely deployed in airborne EO/IR pods, helicopter turrets, armored vehicle fire control systems, and coastal defense installations.

For reliability, the LDR60K1 implements a three-level self-test architecture including power-up, periodic, and commanded self-test functions to ensure continuous operational readiness. The product delivers an operational lifetime exceeding one million laser pulses, operates across a temperature range from -40°C to +55°C, withstands swept sine vibration from 15Hz to 33Hz at 0.91mm constant displacement, transitioning to 2g constant acceleration from 33Hz to 700Hz for 1 hour per axis; shock is 10g tri-axial with post-peak sawtooth waveform, 11ms duration; and features full conformal coating protection for operation in humid, salt-spray, and other harsh battlefield environments.

For system integration, the LDR60K1 employs RS-422 differential serial communication for superior EMI immunity, equipped with the standard J30J-15ZKP military connector. Distance data and status bytes are automatically output after each measurement or designation burst, facilitating system integration and health monitoring. The wide 18V to 32V input range perfectly matches all military 28V platforms, with standby power consumption below 5W and peak power not exceeding 120W.

For guidance performance, the LDR60K1 operates at a 20Hz standard base frequency compatible with all laser-guided weapon systems, featuring 8 pre-stored codes with coding accuracy better than 2.5μs and beam pointing stability controlled within 0.05mrad for sustained, precise target illumination at extreme ranges. Both short and long cycle operation modes are supported: short cycle mode provides 17 seconds of continuous illumination with 10-second intervals, supporting up to 6 consecutive cycles; long cycle mode provides 47 seconds of continuous illumination with 30-second intervals, supporting up to 2 consecutive cycles, allowing flexible selection based on tactical requirements.

For ranging capability, three measurement modes are supported: 1Hz, 5Hz, and single-shot. Minimum range is 300 meters and maximum range is 10 kilometers, with ranging accuracy maintained at ±2 meters and acquisition probability no less than 98%. The envelope dimensions are controlled within 116mm × 52mm × 96mm and weight does not exceed 680 grams, making it ideal for SWaP-constrained platform applications.
